Terry Swift
Managing Director

Terry spent 25 years working within the capital equipment, civil construction and transport industries, including more than 15 years in senior management. During this time Terry gained an appreciation of the difficulties in identifying recruitment consultants with practical knowledge of the industries with which he was involved. From this realisation evolved the Hatfield concept.

This led Terry to being appointed by national and international chartered accountancy firm Deloitte to establish their executive recruitment division in Perth. Following a distinguished career in recruitment consulting that eventually led to the foundation of Hatfield Recruitment Professionals in 1987.

Terry has established an enviable network of repeat clients and contacts which is testimony to his reputation for delivering professional results. The practical experience and personal relationships forged with senior executives over the first part of his career gave Terry an intimate knowledge of the recruitment requirements for senior people across these industries and, ultimately, provided the base for a successful business.

Glenn Swift MBA, MAICD
Director

Glenn joined Hatfield as a Director in 2009, following an 18 year career with Komatsu Australia Ltd. His career included roles in HD mechanical, operations, applications engineering, business development, and sales and marketing management for both construction and mining divisions for the WA and NT regions.

Glenn's experience includes business development with mining companies including BHPB, RTIO and well known resources companies throughout the state. He is experienced in tendering plant and maintenance contracts for key projects and has worked closely with leading contractors such as Macmahon, Thiess, BGC and HWE. Over his career with Komatsu he assumed responsibility for sales management and strategic marketing to industry sectors including resources, civil construction, engineering, quarrying, and government.

Qualified and experienced in machinery, business, marketing and human resource management, Glenn provides a unique perspective of strategic business imperatives from 'crib room to boardroom' level.

Undergraduate Business and postgraduate Master of Business Administration.
Mechanical, Certificate of Trade studies.
